Endoscope Reprocessing - In 3 Easy Steps.
In a busy endoscope department, there are pressures placed on staff to ensure that each endoscope goes through a rigorous set of cleaning steps that require consistent attention to detail. Along with the physical strain of having to repeat these steps and processes many times throughout the day, standing at a sink that may not be at a comfortable working height makes the job that much more tedious.
ARC has worked in conjunction with nurse managers and technicians to help improve effectiveness in processing of flexible endoscopes by introducing the Endoscope Cleaning Station, which addresses the two major issues that are associated with the critical first steps of endoscope reprocessing – overcoming the ergonomic challenges and ensuring the reproducibility of the manual cleaning steps to ensure that each endoscope, from the first to the last, has been cleaned in exactly the same way.
By combining the Endoscope Cleaning Station with the PT3 AER, and the Endoscope Drying and Storage Cabinets, you have a complete endoscope reprocessing system which is efficient, cost-effective and leading edge. Your department will increase through put and lower department operating costs associated with; lost days due to work related injury, missed steps in reprocessing and lower cycle costs of the PT3 AER.

Clean.
The Endoscope Cleaning Station (ECS1) enables the end user to comfortably pre-clean endoscopes prior to disinfection. At the touch of a button, users can adjust the height of the sink in a matter of seconds to meet their needs.

Disinfect. The Automated Endoscope Reprocessor (PT3 AER) has 3 independent disinfection chambers, each with a wash and rinse cycle of 20 minutes. This gives a total capacity of 9 scopes per hour.
|
Dry & Store. The HEPA filtered Endoscope Drying and Storage Cabinet (EC10H) and Endoscope Storage Cabinet (HDE20) provide a safe and clean environment for the drying and storage of endoscopes after they have been re-processed and sterilized.
